From the leafy glades of Sherwood Forest to colourful market towns, Nottinghamshire is a perfect destination for groups and tours. And from Robin Hood to Lord Byron, Brian Clough to Paul Smith our reputation is world renowned. But we've so much more to discover than legends. In recent years, lively Nottingham has been a winner of the Best UK City Group Leisure Awards, in particular for its shopping, nightlife, culture, heritage, and restaurants. We're justifiably proud of our castle and underground caves, our world class sporting venues, and award winning attractions like the Galleries of Justice. And world famous festivals and events, such as the annual Robin Hood Festival or 700 year old Goose Fair, add excitement throughout the year. When its time for a well earned rest you’ll be spoilt for choice. From cosy cafes to the AA Restaurant of the Year 2006/07 for England, you’ll find dining options to suit all tastes. With a huge range of places to stay, whatever your taste or budget, finding group accommodation in Nottinghamshire won’t be difficult. Choose anything from large international hotels to guest houses in the heart of Sherwood Forest. We’re sure Nottinghamshire can provide your group with an inspirational and enjoyable visit. Exhibition schedule 2009 Come and see us to find out what we're up to and what's new at one of the exhibitions we're attending in 2009. If you're nearby we'd love the chance to catch up and get your feedback. Excursions, 17 January 2009, London We'll be at Excursions on Saturday 17 January 2009 at the Alexander Palace in London. This is a great opportunity for group organisers in the South East to come and find out about our events for the year and new opportunities for itinerary ideas. We're looking to set up a FAM trip later in the year and you'll be able to register your interest at the show too.
Belfast Holiday World Show, 16 - 18 January 2009, Belfast Part of our extensive Belfast and Northern Ireland campaign activity, we're at the King's Hall Exhibition and Conference Centre and looking to build on outstanding reputation for activities in the great outdoors. With flights direct from Belfast to Robin Hood airport and East Midlands airport, we're well placed if you want a short flight to escape to our vibrant city and outstanding countryside. The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show, 27 - 29 March 2009, Birmingham This year we've really gone to town with increased floor space and a bespoke stand and we've got some friends on board too. With the Peak District and Derbyshire and the National Forest on the stand too, you'll have the East Midlands top outdoors destinations all together in one place. It's a very exciting prospect and will make your experience easier and better. Come and see us at the NEC Birmingham to plan your summer trip and activities. |
